CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE… Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is on Wednesday, December 24th at 5:00p.m. The Worship Team (listed below) will rehearse at 4:00p.m. Pre-service music will begin at 4:45p.m.
DECEMBER 28th SERVICE… Bro. Eddie’s last Sunday is December 28th. Because of this being a special time, the Worship Choir will be singing at the 10:45am worship service. I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS… The musical is going to be great!!! Please be reminded that on Saturday, December 20th at 5:00p.m., everyone needs to be on stage and ready to go!!! If you need posters to pass out, there are some in the Choir Room… or you can print some out here.
WORSHIP MINISTRY CHRISTMAS PARTY… You and your families are invited to join us for a time of food and fellowship on Sunday, December 21st in the fellowship hall after the musical. Please bring your favorite party food and a 2-liter of your favorite soft drink!

SCRIPTURE FOR THE WEEK…
There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby. It was night, and they were looking after their sheep. An angel of the Lord appeared to them. And the glory of the Lord shone around them. They were terrified.
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy. It is for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord. Here is how you will know I am telling you the truth. You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger."
Suddenly a large group of angels from heaven also appeared. They were praising God. They said,
"May glory be given to God in the highest heaven! And may peace be given to those he is pleased with on earth!"
The angels left and went into heaven. Then the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem. Let's see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."

SCRIPTURE FOR THE WEEK…
There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby. It was night, and they were looking after their sheep. An angel of the Lord appeared to them. And the glory of the Lord shone around them. They were terrified.
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy. It is for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord. Here is how you will know I am telling you the truth. You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger."
Suddenly a large group of angels from heaven also appeared. They were praising God. They said,
"May glory be given to God in the highest heaven! And may peace be given to those he is pleased with on earth!"
The angels left and went into heaven. Then the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem. Let's see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."

I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS…
We are down to our final week! Our final two rehearsals are Sunday, December 14th at 6:00p.m. (after our Worship Choir & Band rehearsal) and Wednesday, December 17th at 7:30p.m. (after our Traditions of Christmas service). Both of these rehearsals are for EVERYONE… FULL CAST AND CREW!!! If you are in the cast and handle props, please make sure you have everything you need by Sunday’s rehearsal. I would like everyone in costume on Wednesday’s rehearsal. The presentation is on Saturday, December 20th and Sunday, December 21st at 6:00p.m. Please invite everyone you know!!! There were sheepherders camping in the neighborhood. They had set night watches over their sheep. Suddenly, God's angel stood among them and God's glory blazed around them. They were terrified. The angel said, "Don't be afraid. I'm here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David's town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. This is what you're to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger."
At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God's praises:
Glory to God in the heavenly heights
Peace to all men and women on earth who please him.
As the angel choir withdrew into heaven, the sheepherders talked it over. "Let's get over to Bethlehem as fast as we can and see for ourselves what God has revealed to us." STEPHEN FOSTER MUSIC CLUB… This Sunday, December 7th at 7:00p.m., Parkway will host the Stephen Foster Music Club’s annual Christmas program. This year the SFMC Community Chorus with the Bloomfield Children’s Chorale will present music from “The Wonder of Christmas” accompanied by the Nelson County High School Concert Band and the House of Prayer Lutheran Church Handbell Choir. We will be performing many of your holiday favorites, including “O Come All Ye Faithful”, “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day”, “We Three Kings”, “Sleigh Ride”, and many more! Admission is free. A love offering will be taken to benefit the Bardstown/Nelson County Ministerial Association.
“I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS”… The Parkway Worship Ministry presentation of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” is on December 20th & 21st at 6:00p.m. The next DRAMA CAST REHEARSAL is on Wednesday, December 10th at 7:30p.m. Our next FULL CAST REHEARSAL is on Sunday, December 14th at 6:00p.m.

DECEMBER SCHEDULE… Since December is now upon us, I thought it might be helpful to you if I actually gave you a schedule in print of all our rehearsals, concert and musicals for the remainder of the year. This program features a mixture of well-known Christmas classics and contemporary Christmas songs like, “Sing We Now of Christmas”, “I Wonder As I Wonder”, “We Three Kings”, and “The Wexford Carol”. Everyone is invited!

“I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS”… Our next rehearsal will be on Sunday, December 30th at 6:15p.m. in the Worship Center (after the Worship Choir & Band rehearsal). We will start working through the musical with the Choir and the track! Please be prepared to stay as long as you can! We really need to get through the entire script. J Please help spread the word by taking out some posters. You can pick up as many as you need from the Choir Room!
STEPHEN FOSTER MUSIC CLUB… This year the Annual Candlelight Christmas program will be on Sunday, December 7th at 7:00p.m., and will feature music from “The Wonder of Christmas”, performed by the Bardstown/Nelson County Community Choir accompanied by the Nelson County High School Concert Band. This program features a mixture of well-known Christmas classics and contemporary Christmas songs like, “Sing We Now of Christmas”, “I Wonder As I Wonder”, “We Three Kings”, and “The Wexford Carol”. Everyone is invited!
PARKWAY CHILDREN’S CHOIR… We are meeting in the Choir Room on Wednesday evenings at 6:00p.m. We will be singing during Wednesday Worship on December 10th and at both services on Sunday Morning, December 14th.
